Shitendra Bhattacharya Heads Emerson Revenue Operations, APAC

Emerson has appointed Shitendra Bhattacharya as Senior Director, Revenue Operations, Asia Pacific, marking a new chapter in his leadership journey. In this role, he will drive commercial excellence across the region by aligning strategy with execution, strengthening revenue intelligence, and enhancing sales effectiveness and business predictability.

Shitendra brings over 18 years of experience with National Instruments (NI), now part of Emerson. Most recently, he served as Country Head & Director of Sales for India and ASEAN, leading go-to-market strategy, regional business performance, strategic customer engagement, and partner development. His contributions included improving branch profitability, strengthening customer coverage, reducing employee turnover, and driving investments in an in-house calibration facility and innovation lab.

During his tenure at NI, he also held roles as Area Sales Manager for Academics, Account Manager for Aerospace, Defense & Government, and Technical Consultant in Sales. Earlier, he worked at IBM India as an Application Developer, developing and maintaining applications for Ericsson in Sweden and Bharti in India.

With experience spanning sales leadership, business development, strategic account management, customer consulting, and technology delivery, Shitendra brings a strong blend of commercial insight and operational leadership to Emerson’s Asia Pacific organisation.
