Tanushree Sahdev Joins Confluence Architects as Comms Head

Tanushree Sahdev has joined Confluence Architects as Head of Corporate Communications, bringing experience across corporate leadership, public-sector engagement, design and academia. Her professional journey reflects a combination of strategic communication, brand positioning, stakeholder engagement and design led thinking.

Prior to joining Confluence Architects, Tanushree served as DGM – Corporate Communications at Tenon Group and Corporate Communications Manager at Synergy Advanced Metals Limited. Across these roles, she developed experience in corporate communications, public relations, strategic messaging, brand positioning and organisational reputation. Her professional background also includes experience with the DC(H) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, adding an institutional and public sector dimension to her understanding of communication.

She began her career as a Designer, establishing a foundation in visual thinking and creative problem solving. She subsequently expanded her professional experience across corporate environments and academia, serving as guest faculty at NIFT. This multidisciplinary background informs her approach to communication as both a strategic function and a means of shaping how organisations articulate their identity, work and ambitions.

At Confluence Architects, Tanushree will lead corporate communications, focusing on strengthening the practice's brand positioning, shaping its institutional narrative and aligning communication across media, digital platforms and stakeholder engagement. Her mandate brings together communication strategy, public relations and design thinking to build a coherent and distinctive voice for the practice.

As architecture practices increasingly engage with a wider network of clients, collaborators, institutions and media, communication plays an important role in articulating design intent, establishing credibility and building long-term recognition.
