Utpal Anand Joins Lars Medicare as Group CHRO

Utpal Anand has been appointed as Group Head & Chief Human Resources Officer at Lars Medicare Group. With extensive experience across diverse industries, he brings a strong blend of strategic HR leadership, talent development, employee engagement, and people operations to his new role.

Before joining Lars Medicare Group, Utpal served as Business Head – HR (North) and Head of Human Resources Operations at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, leading regional HR strategy and operations. Earlier, he headed Employee Experience and HR at Muthoot Pappachan Group and served as Human Resources Consultant and People Practice Leader at ProntoeHR Services.

His career also includes serving as Chief People Officer at SaaSFocus, a Cognizant wing, where he managed HR across Australia, the US, New Zealand, and India. At Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, he spent over a decade managing corporate HR, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR operations across India and the UAE.

Utpal began his career at DTDC Express Limited as Assistant Manager, followed by HR leadership roles at BAX Global and Times Network. His broad experience across HR strategy, industrial relations, stakeholder management, and organizational development positions him to strengthen Lars Medicare Group’s people strategy and support its continued growth.
