Vishal Anand Kanvaty elevated to Managing Director & CEO of National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI)

Vishal Anand Kanvaty has been elevated to Managing Director & CEO of National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI). The newly formed entity will focus on innovation-led initiatives across Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Digital Financial Infrastructure and Global Capability Centre (GCC) services. He will lead its strategic vision and drive growth across emerging technology domains. Vishal currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at NPCI, where he leads the strategy and roadmap for its payment products portfolio. He is also the Founder of EzyRemit, a blockchain-based cross-border remittance venture.
