STEER World, a global leader in advanced materials and technology solutions, appointed Dhiraj Tiwari as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With an impressive career spanning corporate finance, strategy, and leadership in several high-profile industries, Dhiraj’s appointment marks a pivotal moment for STEER World as it continues to expand its global footprint.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Biocon Biologics, where he was instrumental in optimizing the company’s financial performance during a period of rapid growth in the biopharma sector. His strategic insights into capital structuring, financial planning, and stakeholder management were key to Biocon’s success in navigating a complex regulatory landscape.
Prior to his role at Biocon, Dhiraj held several prominent positions, including Vice President of Business and Commercial at Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India Group). In this role, he oversaw the financial and commercial strategy for one of India’s largest media houses, driving profitability and sustainable growth through innovative revenue models and cost optimization initiatives.
Dhiraj’s financial acumen was also pivotal during his time at Star India (now Disney Star), where he served as Senior Vice President. In addition to his leadership in the media and pharma sectors, Dhiraj served as CFO for the Landmark Group’s Iconic division in Dubai, where he spearheaded financial planning and analysis, enhancing the group’s market position in the retail sector.
Dhiraj holds an MBA from the prestigious Indian School of Business and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His diverse industry experience, combined with his strong financial expertise, positions him to drive STEER World’s ambitious growth and innovation agenda.
