Responsive, an AI-powered Strategic Response Management (SRM) firm, has appointed Shankha Sen as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Sen brings a wealth of experience in managing and expanding international finance operations for rapidly growing enterprise technology companies.
Before joining Responsive, Sen served as the Group Vice President of Finance at PowerSchool, a leading provider of cloud-based software for K–12 education. During his tenure, PowerSchool was acquired by Bain Capital in a $5.6 billion transaction, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history. Prior to this, Sen held key roles at Red Hat, including Vice President of Global Finance, where he played a crucial part in managing the financial aspects of the company’s $34 billion acquisition by IBM. His earlier career includes finance positions at Sequent/IBM and EMC/Dell Technologies.
In his new role at Responsive, Sen will be responsible for developing and executing financial strategies to support the company’s growth and strengthen its competitive position in the SaaS market for Strategic Response Management. His extensive background in finance, coupled with his experience in navigating high-profile acquisitions, positions him well to drive Responsive’s financial success in the evolving technology landscape.
