Feroz Mehdi Joins ICAD Airports-India as Director

Feroz Mehdi has joined ICAD Airports-India as Director. His vast professional experience spans multiple sectors, and he has been instrumental in driving strategic growth and operational excellence. With a focus on complex integration projects, mergers and acquisitions, and aviation technology, Feroz is poised to lead ICAD Airports-India in its next phase of growth.

Throughout his career, Feroz has developed specialized expertise in launching new business units, overseeing system integrations, and designing security command and control frameworks. His knowledge extends to creating cutting-edge airport operations technologies, which aim to improve safety, efficiency, and performance. His work in these areas has established him as a leading figure in the aviation industry, particularly in the Middle East and Asia.

At ICAD Airports-India, Feroz is tasked with overseeing key projects related to airport management and integration. He will focus on the ongoing Master System Integration (MSI) projects at Noida International Airport, Lucknow Airport, and Guwahati Airports. These projects are designed to enhance the technological infrastructure of these airports, ensuring they remain competitive and capable of handling future challenges in the aviation sector.

Feroz’s role also includes managing Digital Wings, a division of ICAD Airports-India that focuses on providing innovative software solutions for the aviation industry. The division’s work spans a wide range of technologies, including Airport Management Systems (AMS), Airport Operations Control Centers (AOCC), and advanced biometric and digital identification systems. These solutions aim to streamline airport operations, enhance passenger experience, and boost operational safety and efficiency.

One of Feroz’s key priorities is to drive innovation in airport operations by integrating intelligent technologies like energy optimization, retail concession management, and asset management. These initiatives are designed to improve airport sustainability, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall service delivery. Feroz’s commitment to sustainability is also reflected in his efforts to integrate renewable energy solutions into airport systems, ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for the aviation sector.

Before joining ICAD Airports-India, Feroz served in several high-level roles, including Director of International Operations at ICAD UK, where he played a critical role in setting up subsidiaries and acquiring key ICT companies. His leadership in overseeing major operations and acquisitions has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of international business dynamics, which he will now leverage to further ICAD Airports-India’s mission of becoming a leader in airport technology and security.
