Ganesh Lakshminarayanan Appointed as Managing Director and Group Vice President for India and SAARC Business at ServiceNow

Ganesh Lakshminarayanan has been appointed as the Managing Director and Group Vice President for ServiceNow India and the SAARC region. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, Ganesh brings significant leadership expertise to ServiceNow. He previously served as the CEO of Airtel Business India, where he also sat on the board of Nxtra, an Airtel subsidiary. His extensive experience includes leadership roles at Capillary Technologies, where he was the Chief Operating Officer, and Dell, where he served for several years, including as President and Managing Director of Dell India.

Ganesh’s educational background is equally impressive, holding an MBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and a gold medal in Computer Science and Engineering from Guindy Engineering College. In addition to his business acumen, he has contributed to the Indian IT/ITES sector as an elected member of the NASSCOM executive council and FICCI.

Throughout his career, Ganesh has demonstrated a passion for both business excellence and social impact. He is a founding member of Social Venture Partners in Bangalore and has been actively involved in initiatives aimed at fostering social change through technology and business. His leadership will be key to driving ServiceNow’s growth and digital transformation in the region.

In his new role, Ganesh will leverage his deep industry experience to oversee ServiceNow’s operations and expansion across India and the SAARC region, with a focus on accelerating digital workflows and customer success.

Alongside his corporate endeavors, Ganesh is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Vaishnavism, reflecting his deep personal interest in Tamil literature and philosophy. This unique combination of business leadership and cultural engagement makes him a valuable addition to ServiceNow’s executive team.

ServiceNow’s appointment of Ganesh comes at a time when the company is focused on enhancing its solutions in India and the SAARC region, solidifying its commitment to driving digital transformation across diverse industries.
