Hemant Lakhotiya has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (P&L Head) for the Agri Waste-to-Energy Business at SAEL Industries Ltd. With decades of leadership experience in project management, manufacturing operations, and strategic P&L oversight, he brings a wealth of expertise from some of the most recognized names in the energy and manufacturing sectors, including Welspun Corp, Schneider Electric, and CG Power & Industrial Systems.
Prior to joining SAEL, Hemant served as President at Welspun Corp Limited, where he spearheaded business excellence and digital transformation across the Pipes and Steel business verticals. At JK Files & Engineering Limited, he led global business operations as CEO, overseeing a diverse portfolio of power tools, hand tools, and accessories across manufacturing, sales, and supply chain functions. His international tenure includes a leadership role at Schneider Electric in Singapore, where he was responsible for industrial P&L performance across the Asia-Pacific region, managing multi-country operations and strategy.
With extensive experience directing multi-location manufacturing facilities, driving large-scale project execution, and managing end-to-end business operations, Hemant has consistently delivered results by aligning business strategy with operational excellence. His global perspective and hands-on leadership style have made him a key driver of transformation and growth throughout his career.
In his new role at SAEL Industries Ltd, Hemant will lead the P&L and growth strategy for the company’s Agri Waste-to-Energy division. With SAEL currently operating 11 biomass plants and expanding across multiple states, his strategic oversight will be instrumental in scaling operations, improving efficiency, and furthering the company’s commitment to clean energy and environmental sustainability.
