Mr. Basappa Manappa has been inducted into the CSR Committee of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) for the term 2025–2026. FKCCI, Karnataka’s premier apex body representing 3,000+ direct members and over 250,000 indirect members across trade, industry, and services, continues to strengthen its focus on strategic and high-impact corporate social responsibility across the state.
In this role, the committee will work to deepen industry participation in CSR, align initiatives with state priorities such as education, healthcare, skilling, and environmental sustainability, and promote scalable, outcome-driven social programs that create meaningful impact for communities and local ecosystems.
The CSR Committee, under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Keerthan Kumar, is focused on fostering meaningful collaborations between businesses, government, and civil society to drive measurable progress in sustainable development. The guidance and support of FKCCI President Ms. Uma Reddy, Senior Vice President Mr. T. Sairam Prasad, and the wider leadership team enables the committee to function as an effective platform for dialogue, policy inputs, and on-ground action.
Supported by the expertise of Advisor – CSR, Mr. Abhishek R., the committee aims to help member organisations move from cheque-writing philanthropy to structured CSR programs that are transparent, compliant, and aligned with ESG, BRSR, sustainability, and national development goals. By bringing together professionals with cross-industry exposure, FKCCI’s CSR Committee is well-positioned to curate best practices, build capacity among member companies, and encourage responsible business conduct at scale.
