Sandeep Bhargava has recently taken on the role of Chief Procurement Officer at Havells India Ltd, bringing with him a wealth of experience in procurement, operations management, and quality management across various industries.
Before joining Havells, Bhargava held the position of Executive President & Chief Procurement Officer at Polycab India Limited for nearly 13 years. During his tenure at Polycab, he played a pivotal role in streamlining procurement processes, enhancing operational excellence, and driving cost efficiencies.
Bhargava’s extensive experience also includes key roles at Vedanta Resources Plc, where he served as Assistant Vice President Commercial, and ArcelorMittal Steel in Ukraine as General Manager Materials. His early career includes a notable stint as General Manager Materials at Asahi India Glass Limited, where he honed his skills in managing large-scale procurement operations.
An alumnus of Nagpur University, Bhargava holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering, graduating with distinction. His academic foundation, coupled with his professional journey, has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to excel in his new role at Havells India Ltd.
At Havells, Bhargava is expected to leverage his vast experience to lead the company’s procurement strategies, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in sourcing and supply chain management.
