Paul Jennings appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank ABC, effective August 2026

Paul Jennings has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Bank ABC, effective August 2026, based in Bahrain. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Executive Officer of BACB plc, having previously held the positions of Chief Banking Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He also served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bank ABC in London. Paul has over four decades of banking experience, with senior roles at Bank ABC, BACB plc, Banco ABC Brasil and Bank ABC Islamic. His earlier career includes positions at London Forfaiting Company Ltd, SINGER & FRIEDLANDER LIMITED, Mitsubishi Bank, Arbuthnot Latham and Lloyds Bank.
