Rohit Mehrotra Appointed CFO for Germany & Austria at Wipro

Rohit Mehrotra has recently been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Germany & Austria business unit at Wipro, a global leader in information technology, consulting, and business process services. With an extensive background in finance, particularly within the IT industry, Mehrotra is well-equipped to take on this significant role.

He began his career after completing his Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Higher Secondary degree in Accounting from Shri Daulatram Nopany Vidyalaya.

Throughout his career, Mehrotra has held various prominent positions, including CFO of the Nordics Business Unit at Wipro, where he managed financial operations and drove regional profitability. He also served as Senior Manager of Financial Planning Analysis at Wipro, focusing on management information systems and financial modeling. His experience extends to Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd, where he was Assistant Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, providing financial guidance to enhance business performance.

Additionally, he worked as Assistant Manager of Corporate Finance at Wipro Limited, driving monthly P&L preparation, supply chain management, and variance analysis. His early career included roles as Article Assistant at SARP & Associates, where he conducted audits and managed tax-related responsibilities, and as Accounts Executive at Jai Mata Di International, where he handled account preparation and banking activities.

In his new position, Mehrotra is expected to leverage his comprehensive financial acumen to steer Wipro’s business units in Germany and Austria towards continued success, enhancing operational efficiencies and driving financial growth.
