Piet Bil appointed as Chief Executive Officer of GBM, effective September 2026

Piet Bil has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of GBM, effective September 2026, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining GBM, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at Kyndryl, while also holding the global role of General Manager for Account Modernization & Growth. His previous leadership experience includes serving as Kyndryl Managing Partner for American Express. Piet spent over three decades at IBM, holding several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director for American Express, Westpac Banking Corporation and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. He also served as General Manager of Global Technology Services Benelux, Managing Director for Philips and NXP, and Partner and Managing Partner within IBM’s consulting and industrial sector operations.
