Ageel Alshaibani has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Tourism Authority | الهيئة السعودية للسياحة, effective September 2026. Before this appointment, he served as Deputy Minister of Strategic Planning and Monitoring at the Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and as a Board Member of the General Entertainment Authority - GEA. He also held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Misk Foundation and was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company. Ageel currently serves as a Board Member of Cruise Saudi and SAUDI AIRLINES, President of the Saudi Swimming Federation, and Executive Committee Member of the Events Investment Fund.
