Marwan Elaraby has been appointed as President – MENA at BlueFive Capital, marking a significant milestone in his career across investment, capital markets, and corporate advisory. Effective 1 September 2026, he will lead the firm's strategic initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa, while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders as BlueFive Capital expands its regional presence. Prior to joining BlueFive Capital, he served as Partner at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP. Earlier, he spent more than nine years as Partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP, where he specialised in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advisory, while also serving as a Corporate Business Unit Co-Leader.
